Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Chicken

01 - 1 chicken breast, sliced into two thin cutlets
02 - Salt and pepper to taste
03 - Olive oil or cooking spray

→ For the Coating

04 - 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
05 - 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 egg, lightly whisked

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
02 - Slice the chicken breast horizontally to create two thin cutlets. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
03 - In one shallow bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, and garlic powder. In another bowl, lightly whisk the egg.
04 - Dip each chicken cutlet in egg, letting excess drip off. Then coat evenly in the panko-Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to help it stick.
05 - Spray the air fryer basket with oil, place coated cutlets inside without overcrowding. Lightly spray tops with oil. Cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
