09 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
10 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano

12 - 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
13 - 1 cup (240 ml) chicken broth
14 - 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk

→ Seasonings

15 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with aluminium foil and coat lightly with non-stick spray. Arrange bacon slices in a single layer, sprinkle with chopped rosemary and black pepper. Bake for 12–14 minutes until crisp. Transfer to paper towel and, once cooled, chop finely and set aside.
02 - In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook for about 4 minutes until softened. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in chicken broth, milk, and oregano. Stir continuously for 3 minutes or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and blend in mozzarella cheese until smooth.
03 - Lightly spray a separate baking sheet with non-stick spray. Roll pizza dough to a 23x33 cm rectangle. Evenly spread prepared white sauce over the dough, leaving a 2.5 cm border. Arrange apple slices in a single layer over the sauce. Sprinkle over chopped bacon and then distribute shredded cheddar cheese across the top.
04 - Bake in preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until golden and bubbling. Remove from oven and season lightly with salt, if needed. Garnish with fresh basil or microgreens just before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Thinly slice apples for even cooking and optimal texture.
02 - Ensure bacon is crisp before adding to avoid excess moisture on the crust.
