Baked Blueberry Donuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Donut Batter

01 - 60 ml melted regular or vegan butter
02 - 300 ml regular milk, oat milk, or almond milk
03 - 200 g granulated sugar
04 - 7 g baking powder
05 - 5 g baking soda
06 - 5 ml vanilla extract
07 - 250 g regular or gluten free all-purpose flour
08 - 150 g fresh or frozen blueberries

→ Blueberry Donut Glaze

09 - 60 g powdered sugar
10 - 15 ml regular milk, oat milk, or almond milk
11 - 5 ml vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, chosen milk, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Mix until thoroughly incorporated.
03 - Gradually mix in the flour until just combined, ensuring not to overmix to maintain tenderness.
04 - Gently fold fresh or frozen blueberries into the batter, distributing evenly.
05 - Spoon or pipe the batter evenly into 14–16 greased donut molds, filling each about two-thirds full.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes, or until the donuts are set and lightly golden.
07 - Whisk powdered sugar, milk of choice, and vanilla extract together until smooth. Once baked donuts have cooled slightly, drizzle glaze over as desired.

# Notes:

01 - For best texture, use King Arthur Measure for Measure gluten free flour if baking gluten free. Avoid almond flour or specialty baking blends.
