Better Than Takeout Fried Rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups cooked white rice (day-old or leftover)
02 - 3 tablespoons sesame oil
03 - 1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
04 - 1 small onion, chopped
05 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
06 - 2 eggs, slightly beaten
07 - 1/4 cup soy sauce

# Instructions:

01 - On medium-high heat, heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok.
02 - Add the peas and carrots mix, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the pan. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender.
03 - Lower the heat to medium-low, push the vegetable mixture to one side of the skillet, and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked.
04 - Add the cooked rice and soy sauce to the pan. Mix everything together well. Stir-fry until the rice is thoroughly heated.
05 - Once everything is evenly combined and heated through, remove from the heat and serve hot.
