Blackberry Basil Ricotta Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 unbaked pizza crust (35–40 cm diameter)
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Toppings

03 - 2 cups (about 150 grams) fresh blackberries
04 - 1 cup (100 grams) shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 1 cup (90 grams) shredded parmesan cheese
06 - 1/2 cup (120 grams) ricotta cheese
07 - 10 large fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Place a pizza stone in the oven and preheat to 260°C.
02 - Set the unbaked pizza crust on a peel or parchment paper. Brush evenly with olive oil.
03 - Crush half the blackberries with a fork and spread them over the crust.
04 - Distribute mozzarella and parmesan evenly across the surface.
05 - Halve the remaining blackberries and scatter them on top. Add heaping teaspoon-sized spoonfuls of ricotta randomly.
06 - Transfer the assembled pizza to the hot stone and bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
07 - While baking, roughly chop or chiffonade the basil. In the last few minutes of baking, scatter basil over the pizza.
08 - Remove the pizza from the oven and allow to cool briefly. Slice into eight portions and serve.

# Notes:

01 - For a crispier result, ensure the pizza stone is thoroughly preheated before baking.
02 - For clean basil flavor, add the basil near the end of baking to avoid wilting.
