Blue Cheese Stuffed Pears (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 large Bosc pears
02 - 1-2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
03 - 2 1/2 ounces Danish blue cheese, crumbled

→ Additions

04 - 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
05 - 3 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves removed

→ Finishing Touches

06 - 1-2 tablespoons honey
07 - 1/2 teaspoon Aleppo pepper
08 - Flaky salt, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
02 - Slice the pears in half lengthwise and remove the core and seeds. Place in a cast iron skillet or baking dish, cut side up. Drizzle with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper. Turn the pears cut side down.
03 - Transfer the pears to the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
04 - Remove the pears from oven, turn them cut side up and stuff with the crumbled blue cheese, chopped walnuts and thyme leaves. Return to the oven for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese has slightly melted.
05 - Mix the honey with Aleppo pepper in a small bowl.
06 - Once the pears are done cooking, transfer to a platter or individual plates and drizzle with the spiced honey. Garnish with flaky salt and extra thyme leaves if desired.
