Fresh Caesar Pasta Salad Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 6 cups bowtie pasta (about 1 pound package)
02 - 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce (about 1 small head)
03 - 2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken

→ Toppings and Extras

04 - 1 cup shaved parmesan cheese
05 - 2 cups classic caesar croutons (5 oz package)
06 - ½ cup crumbled bacon
07 - 12 oz jar caesar salad dressing
08 - Freshly cracked pepper and sea salt, to taste
09 - Lemon wedges for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta following package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water until completely cool.
02 - In a large bowl, toss together the cooled pasta, chopped romaine, chicken, parmesan, croutons, bacon, and caesar dressing.
03 - Top with fresh cracked pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve right away while the croutons are still crunchy.

# Notes:

01 - Best served immediately to maintain crouton crunchiness
02 - Romaine lettuce works best as it stays crisp longer
03 - Additional dressing may be needed for leftovers as pasta absorbs liquid
