Cheesy Beef Taco Pockets (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat and Seasonings

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning

→ Dairy and Cheese

03 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
04 - 1 1/2 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese
05 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted

→ Base and Sauces

06 - 12 small flour tortillas
07 - 1/2 cup salsa
08 - Sour cream for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Crank up that oven to 350°F and line your baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - Get your skillet nice and hot over medium-high heat. Brown that ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain off any extra fat - we want these pockets tasty, not greasy!
03 - Sprinkle in your taco seasoning and follow the packet instructions. Set this deliciousness aside for now.
04 - In a bowl, beat your room temperature cream cheese until it's nice and smooth. Mix in the salsa until everything's well combined.
05 - Grab a tortilla and spread some of that cream cheese mixture right in the middle. Top it with some of your seasoned beef and a generous sprinkle of cheese.
06 - Roll each tortilla up burrito-style and place them on your prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with a bit more cheese for good measure.
07 - Pop these bad boys in the oven for about 15 minutes until they're golden brown and crispy on the outside.

# Notes:

01 - These pockets can be made ahead and reheated in the oven when needed
02 - Great for parties or game day snacking
