Chicken Tortellini Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon dried basil.
02 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley.
03 - ½ teaspoon dried oregano.
04 - ½ teaspoon mustard powder.
05 - ¼ teaspoon ground sage.
06 - ¼ teaspoon pepper.
07 - 1¼ lb bone-in chicken breast.
08 - 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning.
09 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
10 - 2 tablespoons butter.
11 - 1 yellow onion, diced.
12 - ¾ cup diced carrots.
13 - 2 ribs celery, diced.
14 - 3 cloves garlic, minced.
15 - 6 cups chicken broth.
16 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
17 - 1 teaspoon hot sauce.
18 - 10 oz refrigerated tortellini.

# Instructions:

01 - Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Optionally sear in olive oil 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Rest 10 minutes then shred.
02 - Melt butter in pot. Add onions, carrots, celery and cook 5 minutes. Add garlic, sauces, and seasonings. Cook 1 minute more.
03 - Add broth and shredded chicken. Bring to gentle bubble and simmer partially covered for 15 minutes.
04 - Add tortellini and cook until done according to package. Season to taste and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Can be made in crockpot on low for 6 hours.
02 - Store tortellini separately from soup.
03 - Can freeze without tortellini.
