Christmas Ooey Gooey Butter Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup (113g) salted butter, softened.
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
03 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar.
04 - 1 large egg, room temperature.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - 2 1/4 cups (282g) all-purpose flour.
07 - 1 cup (126g) confectioners' sugar, divided.
08 - 3 teaspoons baking powder.
09 - 1/3 cup Christmas sprinkles.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Beat butter, cream cheese and granulated sugar until blended. Add egg and vanilla.
03 - Mix in flour, baking powder, and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar gradually. Fold in sprinkles.
04 - Scoop 2-tablespoon balls, roll in remaining confectioners' sugar. Flatten slightly on baking sheets.
05 - Bake 8-11 minutes until tops are no longer wet. Rest 5 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
