Classic Sausage Balls Recipe (Print Version)

01 - Ground pork breakfast sausage - 1 pound, room temperature
02 - Biscuit baking mix (like Bisquick) - 2 cups
03 - Sharp cheddar cheese - 1 pound, freshly shredded

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven heating up to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - In a big bowl, work the sausage and biscuit mix together until they're well combined. Then fold in all that shredded cheddar until it's evenly mixed.
03 - Roll the mixture into nice 1-inch balls (about golf ball size) and place them on your lined baking sheet, giving them a bit of space between each one.
04 - Pop them in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they're golden brown outside and the sausage is completely cooked through.
05 - Let them cool for about 5 minutes (they'll be super hot!), then serve them up warm. Add some dipping sauces if you like!

01 - Make sure your sausage is at room temperature - it makes mixing much easier.
02 - Freshly shredded cheese works better than pre-shredded, as it melts more smoothly.
