Cranberry Feta Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups frozen or fresh cranberries.
02 - 1/4 cup maple syrup.
03 - 1 orange, zested and juiced.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
05 - 8 ounces feta cheese (1 1/2 cups crumbled).
06 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes.
08 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
09 - 1/4 cup chopped pistachios.
10 - 1-2 tablespoons honey.
11 - Fresh thyme for garnish (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Combine cranberries, maple syrup, orange zest, juice and nutmeg in saucepan. Bring to boil, then simmer 6-10 minutes until cranberries burst.
02 - Remove cranberry mixture from heat and let cool completely.
03 - Blend feta, Greek yogurt, chili flakes and olive oil in food processor until smooth and creamy.
04 - Layer whipped feta in bowl, top with cranberry compote, pistachios, honey drizzle and optional thyme.

# Notes:

01 - Components can be made 2 days ahead and stored separately.
02 - Let ingredients come to room temperature before assembling.
03 - Can substitute ricotta for feta if desired.
