Creamy Peppercorn Sauce For Steak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tbsp butter
02 - 1 cup beef stock
03 - 1 tsp Dijon mustard
04 - ¼ cup heavy cream
05 - 1 tbsp crushed black peppercorns
06 - ½ tsp salt

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a small saucepan on the stove to medium heat. Add butter and allow it to melt completely.
02 - Whisk in beef stock, Dijon mustard, heavy cream, crushed peppercorns, and salt until fully incorporated.
03 - Stir regularly as the sauce simmers and thickens for 5-10 minutes, until it coats the back of a spoon.
04 - Remove the pan from heat to stop the cooking process. Immediately pour sauce over steak or transfer to a serving dish.
