Cheesecake Filled Deviled Strawberries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Strawberries

01 - 12 medium to large fresh strawberries

→ Cheesecake Filling

02 - 12 ounces whipped cream cheese
03 - 1 cup powdered sugar
04 - 2 teaspoons fresh lemon zest
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Toppings

06 - 1 tablespoon graham cracker crumbs
07 - 1 tablespoon colorful sprinkles

# Instructions:

01 - Give those strawberries a good wash and pat them dry. Slice them in half lengthwise, keeping those cute stems on if you like
02 - Using your paring knife, gently score a little triangle in the middle of each berry half. Then, carefully scoop out a bit of the center with a small spoon to make room for all that creamy filling
03 - Place your prepped berries cut-side down on some paper towels for a couple minutes to drain any extra moisture
04 - Mix up your whipped cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla until it's super smooth. Pop this into a piping bag with a fancy tip (or just use a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off)
05 - Pipe a generous swirl of filling into each berry, then sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs and colorful sprinkles. Serve these beauties right away!

# Notes:

01 - Choose ripe but firm strawberries - they'll hold up better when filled
02 - Make sure berries are completely dry before filling to prevent watery filling
03 - These are best served within a few hours of making
