Fresh Homemade Peach Sorbet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sorbet Base

01 - 4 cups peach slices (frozen works best, but fresh will do too)
02 - ½ cup white cane sugar
03 - ¼ cup cold water
04 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh or bottled, whatever you have on hand)

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the peaches, sugar, water and lemon juice into your blender or food processor. Blend until super smooth - you don't want any chunky bits left.
02 - Pour the mixture into a metal loaf pan or any freezer-safe container you've got. No lid? No problem - just cover it with some parchment paper or aluminum foil.
03 - Stick it in the freezer for at least 4 hours. The waiting is the hardest part!
04 - Take the sorbet out of the freezer and let it sit for about 5 minutes so it softens up a bit before scooping. Then dig in and enjoy your homemade peachy goodness!

# Notes:

01 - This sorbet keeps well in the freezer for up to 3 months if covered properly.
02 - Perfect for hot summer days when you need something refreshing and fruity.
