Garlic Cauliflower Mushroom Skillet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - 1 small head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
02 - 225 grams mushrooms, sliced

→ Aromatics and Seasonings

03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Fats and Finishers

08 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
09 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 - 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
11 - 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
12 - Fresh parsley, finely chopped, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until butter is fully melted and mixture is shimmering.
02 - Add cauliflower florets to the skillet and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring regularly, until lightly golden on the edges.
03 - Incorporate sliced mushrooms into the skillet and continue to sauté for an additional 4 to 5 minutes until vegetables are softened.
04 - Add minced garlic, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for 2 minutes until the garlic is aromatic.
05 - Remove from heat, drizzle with fresh lemon juice, toss gently, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
