Heat your oven to a toasty 375°F (190°C).

Warm up some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Toss in those sliced onions and colorful bell peppers, cooking until they're soft and fragrant - about 5-7 minutes.

Add your thinly sliced steak and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook everything together until the meat is nicely browned but still tender, roughly 4-5 minutes.

Take your French baguette and slice it lengthwise, but don't cut all the way through. Hollow it out a bit by scooping out some of the soft interior.

Stuff both halves of your baguette with the delicious steak mixture, then generously sprinkle cheese over the top.

Place your stuffed baguette on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
