grape juice ice cream (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Ice Cream Base

01 - 480 ml 100% pure grape juice, unsweetened
02 - 240 ml heavy cream
03 - 240 ml whole milk
04 - 150 g granulated sugar
05 - 5 ml vanilla extract (optional, for added depth of flavor)
06 - 15 ml lemon juice (optional, enhances grape flavor)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together grape juice, sugar, and lemon juice until all sugar has fully dissolved.
02 - Add heavy cream, whole milk, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.
03 - Pour the prepared mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions (typically 20 to 25 minutes) until reaching soft-serve texture. Transfer to an airtight container, cover, and freeze for 4 to 6 hours until fully set.
04 - Pour the mixture into a wide, freezer-safe container. Freeze for 45 minutes, then stir with a fork to disrupt any ice crystals. Continue to freeze, stirring every 30 minutes, for 3 to 4 hours, until the texture is creamy and smooth.
05 - Before serving, allow the ice cream to sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to soften slightly. Scoop into serving bowls or cones and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - For a more intense grape flavor, select cold-pressed or concord grape juice.
