Easy Greek Yogurt Cake Recipe (Print Version)

01 - 1 large egg
02 - 180 grams (⅔ cup) Greek yogurt
03 - 1 ripe banana (about 100 grams), or ½ cup applesauce
04 - 80 ml (⅓ cup) maple syrup or honey
05 - 150 grams (1½ cup) oat flour
06 - 50 grams (½ cup) almond flour
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
09 - ⅙ teaspoon salt
10 - 60 ml (¼ cup) milk of choice

11 - 50 grams (¼ cup) dark chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 180ºC (360°F). Line a 20 cm (7.8 inch) cake pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, mash your banana until smooth. Add Greek yogurt, egg, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir everything together until well combined.
03 - Pour in the oat flour, almond flour, and baking powder. While stirring, gradually add the milk until you have a smooth batter.
04 - If using chocolate chips, gently fold them into your batter now.
05 - Pour the batter into your prepared pan. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when poked in the center.
