Honey Brown Sugar Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 225 grams salted butter, softened
02 - 120 grams honey
03 - 250 grams light brown sugar
04 - 100 grams granulated sugar
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 10 milliliters vanilla extract
07 - 405 grams all-purpose flour
08 - 10 grams baking soda

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C.
02 - Line a baking tray with parchment paper, non-stick foil, or lightly spray with baking spray.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and honey together until smooth and cohesive.
04 - Add light brown sugar and granulated sugar to the bowl. Beat until mixture is light and fluffy.
05 - Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
06 - In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and baking soda. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Mix just until incorporated.
07 - Portion dough using a cookie scoop or spoon, placing on prepared baking tray with at least 5 cm spacing between portions.
08 - Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 12 minutes, or until edges become lightly golden. For a crisper texture, extend baking by 2 to 3 minutes.
09 - Remove baking tray from oven. Allow cookies to cool on the tray for at least 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - For soft cookies, remove from oven when edges are just barely golden. Leave on tray to set for 2 minutes before transferring to rack.
