Iced Butterfly Pea Flower Latte (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tea Base

01 - 1 tablespoon dried butterfly pea flowers or 2 butterfly pea flower tea bags
02 - 240 ml hot water
03 - 15–30 ml honey, sugar, or sweetener of choice, to taste

→ Latte

04 - 120 ml milk
05 - Ice cubes

→ Garnish (Optional)

06 - Lemon or lime slices
07 - Edible flowers
08 - Cinnamon or matcha powder, lightly dusted

# Instructions:

01 - Combine dried butterfly pea flowers or tea bags in a heatproof container. Pour the hot water over and steep for 5 to 7 minutes, until the infusion is a deep blue.
02 - Stir in honey or sugar while the tea is hot until dissolved. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
03 - Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the chilled butterfly pea flower tea over the ice until the glass is half full.
04 - Slowly pour milk over the back of a spoon onto the tea to create a layered effect.
05 - Garnish with lemon or lime slices, edible flowers, or lightly dust with cinnamon or matcha powder. Stir gently before drinking or enjoy the natural layering.

# Notes:

01 - Adding lemon or lime will naturally change the tea's color from blue to purple due to the pH reaction.
