Holiday Cookie Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2¼ cups all-purpose flour (spoon method).
02 - 2 tsp. baking powder.
03 - 3 large eggs.
04 - ½ cup granulated sugar.
05 - ½ cup salted butter, room temperature.
06 - 1½ tsp. almond extract.
07 - 2 cups powdered sugar (for icing).
08 - 2-3 tbsp milk (for icing).
09 - 1 tsp almond extract (for icing).
10 - Nonpareill sprinkles.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix flour and baking powder in a small bowl. Set aside.
02 - Beat butter until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
03 - Add eggs, sugar, and almond extract. Mix until combined (mixture will look chunky).
04 - Mix in flour mixture until just combined.
05 - Refrigerate dough for at least one hour.
06 - Roll dough into small balls using a scoop or tablespoon.
07 - Place on parchment-lined sheet 1 inch apart. Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes.
08 - Mix powdered sugar with milk gradually until thick glaze forms. Add extract.
09 - Dip cooled cookies in glaze and place on cooling rack.
10 - Add sprinkles while icing is still wet.
