Million Dollar Baked Ziti (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ziti pasta.
02 - 1¼ lb Italian sausage, casings removed.
03 - 2 (24-oz) jars spaghetti sauce.
04 - 1½ cups cottage cheese.
05 - 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, room temperature.
06 - ½ cup sour cream.
07 - 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided.
08 - 2 large eggs.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
02 - Cook ziti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
03 - Cook sausage in large skillet until no longer pink. Drain fat. Mix in spaghetti sauce.
04 - Mix cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, and 1 cup mozzarella in a large bowl.
05 - Stir meat sauce and pasta into cheese mixture. Pour into baking dish. Top with remaining 2 cups mozzarella.
06 - Cook uncovered for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and cheese is golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - Can use other ground meats instead of Italian sausage.
02 - Best with Trader Joe's, Rao's, or La Famiglia DelGrosso sauce.
03 - Can substitute ricotta for cottage cheese.
04 - Make ahead and refrigerate before baking.
05 - Can be frozen up to 3 months.
