                Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

                In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.

                Add minced garlic to the browned beef and cook for 1 minute. Stir in brown sugar, beef broth, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ground ginger, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.

                Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Add to the skillet and stir until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

                Add cooked linguine to the skillet. Toss noodles in the sauce until well coated. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
