03 - 1/2 cup caramelized onions
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
06 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ For Assembly

07 - 1 (16 ounce) pizza dough
08 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
09 - 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up your pan with olive oil and sauté those onions, garlic, and peppers until they get nice and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
02 - In the same pan, cook your thinly sliced steak with salt and pepper until browned. Mix it with the veggies and set aside.
03 - Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a big rectangle, about 12x16 inches.
04 - Spread your steak and veggie mixture over the dough, leaving a little border. Top with lots of mozzarella, then roll it up like a jelly roll, tucking in the ends.
05 - Put your stromboli on a lined baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until it's beautifully golden brown.
06 - Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing - this helps keep all the good stuff inside!

# Notes:

01 - Store-bought pizza dough works great if you're short on time.
02 - Try mixing in provolone or cheddar cheese for extra flavor.
03 - Make sure your filling isn't too wet to avoid a soggy bottom.
