Sauteed Mushrooms with Spinach (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
02 - 1 pound mushrooms (cremini, button, or mixed), sliced
03 - 4 cups fresh spinach, packed
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
06 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Optional Garnish

07 - Fresh parsley, chopped
08 - Red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Wash mushrooms thoroughly and pat dry with paper towel. Slice them evenly to ensure uniform cooking. Clean spinach and set aside. Mince garlic and juice lemon.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they soften and turn deep brown.
03 - When mushrooms are almost fully browned, add minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
04 - Add spinach to the skillet and toss gently to combine with mushrooms and garlic. Cook until spinach begins to wilt.
05 - Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add fresh lemon juice and toss everything together to combine flavors.

# Notes:

01 - Cremini mushrooms offer a firm texture and rich, savory flavor, but any mushroom variety works well in this recipe.
