# Ingredients:

→ Dough Base

01 - 115 g unsalted butter, softened
02 - 110 g packed brown sugar
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 30 ml milk
05 - 5 ml vanilla extract

→ Dry Ingredients

06 - 190 g all-purpose flour
07 - 2.5 ml baking soda
08 - 2.5 ml ground cinnamon
09 - 1.25 ml ground nutmeg

→ Fruit and Nuts

10 - 150 g chopped candied fruits (such as cherries, pineapple)
11 - 75 g raisins or currants
12 - 65 g chopped pecans or walnuts

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, beat softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
04 - Fold in candied fruits, raisins, and nuts until evenly distributed in the dough.
05 - Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 5 cm apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
06 - Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
