Onion Gruyere Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups caramelized onions.
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese.
03 - 3/4 cup mayonnaise.
04 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
05 - 5 ounces Gruyere cheese, shredded.
06 - 1/4 cup diced chives or green onions.
07 - French baguette for serving (optional).
08 - Olive oil for bread (optional).
09 - Salt and pepper for bread (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Grease a cast iron skillet or casserole dish. Reserve some mozzarella and chives for garnish.
02 - Add all remaining ingredients to the prepared pan.
03 - Heat at 325°F for 20-25 minutes. Stir to combine evenly.
04 - Top with reserved mozzarella and chives. Return to oven until melted.

# Notes:

01 - For bread option: brush baguette slices with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, bake at 400°F for 5 minutes.
02 - Can be served with crackers or chips instead of bread.
