Parmesan Crusted Halibut Dish (Print Version)

01 - 2 halibut fillets, skin removed
02 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
03 - 1 lemon
04 - 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
05 - 1/4 cup parmesan
06 - 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
07 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
08 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and spray a baking pan with cooking spray.
02 - Place the halibut fillets on a plate and squeeze half of the lemon over them. Coat the top of the fish with olive oil, ensuring a thin, even layer. Season with salt and pepper.
03 - In a small bowl, mix together panko breadcrumbs, parmesan, Italian Seasoning, garlic powder, and lemon zest.
04 - Carefully press the crust mixture onto the top of the fillets.
05 - Bake the halibut for 10-15 minutes until it turns opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Serve with the remaining lemon wedge.

01 - Cooking time may vary depending on your oven and the thickness of the fish. A general guideline is 10 minutes per 1-inch thickness.
02 - The dish is best served fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
