Patty Melt with Secret Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Secret Sauce

01 - ¼ cup mayonnaise
02 - 2 tablespoons ketchup
03 - 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
04 - 1 teaspoon pickle juice
05 - ¼ teaspoon paprika
06 - ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

→ Sandwich

07 - 2 large onions, thinly sliced
08 - 12 ounces 85/15 ground beef
09 - ½ teaspoon salt
10 - ½ teaspoon pepper
11 - 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
12 - 8 slices rye bread
13 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
14 - 4 swiss cheese slices
15 - 4 cheddar cheese slices
16 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl until smooth.
02 - Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-low heat. Cook onions until deep golden brown, about 30 minutes. Add water if needed to prevent burning.
03 - Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce. Form into four thin, oblong patties to match bread shape. Cook in skillet until browned on both sides.
04 - Butter bread slices. Layer each sandwich: buttered bread (down), swiss cheese, beef patty, onions, secret sauce, cheddar cheese, buttered bread (up). Cook 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.

02 - Add water while cooking onions if they start to dry out
