Pear and Gorgonzola Flatbread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 sheet of puff pastry or flatbread (store-bought)

→ Toppings

02 - 2 pears, thinly sliced
03 - 120g Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
04 - 60ml honey
05 - 30g chopped walnuts
06 - Handful of arugula leaves
07 - 1 tbsp olive oil
08 - Freshly cracked black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 200°C. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and place it on a baking sheet. If using flatbread, place it directly on the sheet.
02 - Drizzle olive oil evenly over the flatbread or puff pastry base for added flavor and to prevent sticking.
03 - Arrange the pear slices slightly overlapping to cover the base entirely.
04 - Scatter crumbled Gorgonzola cheese over the pears.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the base is golden and crisp, and the cheese has melted.
06 - Remove the flatbread from the oven. Drizzle honey generously over it, then top with chopped walnuts, arugula leaves, and freshly cracked black pepper.

# Notes:

01 - You can substitute Gorgonzola with goat cheese or blue cheese if preferred.
02 - Pecans can be used instead of walnuts for a different flavor profile.
