Pistachio Cream Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - ⅓ cup sugar
03 - 1 cup salted butter, softened

→ Filling

04 - 1 package (8oz/250g) cream cheese, softened
05 - 1 cup powdered sugar
06 - 1 box (4 serving size) Pistachio instant pudding mix
07 - ¾ cup milk

→ Topping

08 - ¼ cup pistachios, roughly chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 300ºF. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Beat in the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until completely blended. Transfer the dough mixture to a 13×9 inch pan and press down firmly to create an even crust.
02 - Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until edges of the crust are golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add milk and Pistachio pudding mix and continue mixing until fully combined and no lumps remain.
04 - Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cooled crust. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios on top. Refrigerate for at least one hour or until set.

01 - Cut into 24 to 36 bars depending on desired portion size.
