Soy Sesame Raw Carrot Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - 4-5 large carrots, peeled and ribboned
02 - 2 green onions, sliced

→ Dressing

03 - 1½ tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
04 - 2 tablespoons sesame oil
05 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
06 - ½ tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar
07 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic

→ Garnish

08 - 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, rice vinegar, and minced garlic until well combined.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, add the ribboned carrots, toasted sesame seeds, and sliced green onions.
03 - Pour the dressing over the carrot mixture and toss thoroughly to coat. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
