# Ingredients:

→ For the Wings

01 - 900g chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
02 - 1 teaspoon salt
03 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

→ For the Sweet and Spicy Glaze

06 - 60ml honey
07 - 50g brown sugar
08 - 60ml hot sauce (adjust to taste)
09 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
10 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
11 - ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

→ Optional Garnishes

12 - Sliced green onions
13 - Sesame seeds
14 - Chopped fresh cilantro

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels to ensure crispy skin. In a large bowl, toss wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
02 - Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange seasoned wings on a wire rack positioned over a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until wings are golden brown and crispy.
03 - Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 190°C (375°F). Fry wings in batches for 8-10 minutes until golden and thoroughly cooked. Remove and drain on paper towels.
04 - In a small saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, hot sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper if using. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture bubbles and slightly thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
05 - Transfer cooked wings to a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm sweet and spicy glaze over the wings and toss until evenly coated. Sprinkle with optional garnishes if desired before serving.

01 - For extra crispy wings, refrigerate them uncovered for 1-2 hours before cooking to dry out the skin.
02 - The sauce can be made ahead and reheated when needed.
