Tree Pull-Apart Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound prepared pizza dough.
02 - 8 mozzarella cheese sticks.
03 - 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
05 - 1 large egg.
06 - 1 tablespoon water.
07 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted.
08 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped.
09 - 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese.
10 - 1 cup marinara sauce for serving.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F and line baking sheet with parchment. Let dough sit at room temp for 15 minutes.
02 - Cut each mozzarella stick into 4 pieces (32 total). Roll out dough and cut into 32 squares.
03 - Place cheese on dough squares, add seasonings, fold edges over cheese and pinch closed. Roll into balls.
04 - Place balls seam-side down in tree shape with trunk at bottom. Mix egg with water and brush over balls.
05 - Bake 16-18 minutes until golden brown and cheese melts.
06 - Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with parsley and parmesan. Serve hot with marinara sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Makes enough for a tree shape plus 3 extra balls.
02 - Can be stored in fridge for up to 3 days.
03 - Best served warm while cheese is melty.
