Wet Wet Chili Sesame Oil (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 tablespoons green onion whites, thinly sliced
02 - 1.5 teaspoons garlic, finely minced
03 - 1 teaspoon ginger, finely minced
04 - 2 tablespoons gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
05 - 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds
06 - 120 millilitres vegetable oil
07 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
10 - 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

# Instructions:

01 - Place the sliced green onion whites, minced garlic, minced ginger, gochugaru, and white sesame seeds into a large heatproof pot.
02 - Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium heat until it is hot but not smoking.
03 - Carefully pour the hot oil over the green onion, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, and sesame seeds mixture. Allow the oil to bubble and stir to combine. Let cool slightly.
04 - Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and toasted sesame oil. Mix well to ensure even distribution.
05 - Use immediately or transfer to an airtight jar and refrigerate until needed.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the oil is sufficiently hot to sizzle the aromatics but avoid burning by not allowing it to smoke.
