Homemade Crunch Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups crispy rice cereal
02 - 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
03 - 1 cup peanut butter (or alternative nut/seed butter)
04 - 1/2 cup maple syrup
05 - 1/4 cup coconut oil (or grass-fed butter)

# Instructions:

01 - Line an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - Add crispy rice cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
03 - In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Heat until melted. Remove from heat and whisk until completely incorporated.
04 - Pour the chocolate/peanut butter mixture over the crispy rice cereal and mix until fully coated. Transfer the mixture into the lined baking dish and refrigerate until firm (at least one hour).
05 - Remove from refrigerator and cut into bars for serving.
