Marble Cake Perfection (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 315g all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tsp baking powder
03 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
04 - 1/4 tsp salt

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 225g unsalted butter, softened
06 - 350g granulated sugar
07 - 4 large eggs
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
09 - 240ml milk

→ Chocolate Mixture

10 - 30g cocoa powder
11 - 3 tbsp hot water

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease and line a loaf or bundt pan. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
02 - Divide the batter in half. In one portion, mix cocoa powder and hot water until smooth, then fold into the batter until fully incorporated.
03 - Pour alternating spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter into the prepared pan. Using a knife, gently swirl through the batters to create a marbled effect without overmixing.
04 - Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - For the best marble effect, be careful not to overmix when swirling the batters together.
02 - The cake keeps well in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature.
