Marry Me Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 salmon filets, skinless.
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided.
03 - 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning.
04 - ½ teaspoon Kosher salt.
05 - ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper.
06 - 3 tablespoons butter.
07 - 2 teaspoon garlic, minced.
08 - 3 tablespoons flour.
09 - 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
10 - ¾ cup heavy cream.
11 - 1/2 cup parmesan, grated.
12 - 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained.
13 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning.
14 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest.
15 - Fresh basil, for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Brush salmon filets with olive oil and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
02 - Heat remaining olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
03 - In same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add flour and stir to make paste.
04 - Whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, and parmesan. Add sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and lemon zest. Season to taste.
05 - Return salmon to skillet and simmer on medium-low for 10 minutes. Garnish with basil and lemon zest.
